At the heart of the IPECS Platform is the Call Server, known as an MFIM (Multi-Function Interface Module). This highly reliable, purpose built Call Server controls and maintains communications between end-points and shared network resources. The MFIM-50 is the smallest Call Server available and supports a maximum of 50 devices.

The IPECS 50 is a complete system and needs no additional Gateways to be a fully functional telephone system with lines, voicemail, call queuing, PC based telephones and Mobile Extension capability. Two versions are available offering integrated Analogue or ISDN lines, both support SIP lines as standard.

The Call Server can be expanded by connecting additional modular IPECS Gateways, which easily connect to the Call Server over any IP network. These Gateways interface to an array of network resources from analogue telephone circuits to advanced external VoIP connections. This simple modular structure yields flexible configurations and installations to meet your needs now and in the future. When IPECS phones connect to a broadband via Wi-Fi access point, this does not cost any user.
